What is the difference between silicone weather sealant and silicone structural sealant?

Previously we have talked about the difference between silicone sealant and MS sealant, then what is the difference between silicone weather sealant and silicone structural sealant?

Silicone weather sealant refers to low modulus neutral silicone sealing material for curtain wall jointing with good sealant properties.

Silicone weather sealant Product Usage

Suitable for all kinds of curtain wall weatherproof sealing, especially recommended for glass curtain wall, aluminum composite panel curtain wall, stone dry hanging weatherproof sealing.
Metal, glass, aluminum, ceramic tile, organic glass, coated glass joint sealing.
Joint sealing on rock, marble, steel, wood, anodized aluminum and painted aluminum surfaces. No primer is required in most cases.
It has superb weather resistance properties such as ozone and UV resistance, giving it a long service life.

Silicone structural sealant is primarily used for structural or non-structural bonding assembly between metal and glass in glass curtain walls.

Silicone structural sealant Product Usage

It can connect the glass directly with the surface of metal components to form a single assembly component, to meet the design requirements of fully hidden or semi-hidden frame curtain wall.
Structural sealant sealing of insulating glass.
Applicable to laminated glass, insulating glass, mirror glass, coated glass, zinc, iron materials such as bonding and caulking seal.
Silicone weathering sealant is mainly used for sealing and caulking between materials, while the structural sealant is mainly used for bonding, the two are not used in one place.
